Trot Class

Trot (트로트) is a popular and beloved genre of Korean pop music, and is recognized as the oldest form Korean pop music. It has unique musical form which has been influenced by Japanese, Western and Korean music elements from the early 1900's. Despite suffering ups and downs in its popularity over the century, it has enjoyed quite a revival over the past two decades as many young K-Pop stars have given us a new version of the style. This course will introduce famous and popular trot music and trot stage manners to you.
